I had solar powered Argus 2E and other brands in the past. This Reolink traxkMix with solar powered is far superior in performance than my previous cameras. Installation is a breeze. It is sensitive to pick up and record movement be it human or vehicles as far as 10m away. The wifi connection is reliable and it always connect. I like the the movement tracker as it gives additional close-up view of the moving object. I am very happy with it. I recommend a buy for anyone who wants a reliable and quality security camera.

Have three ecos. Resolution is great. Connectivity is awesome. Have all three connected to solar panels that came with them. Love the black out option as my neighbor flies a flag and it sets it off. Best cameras for the price. The one showing the pool is 50 feet from house and no connection issues. We had car break ins and all cameras were installed after. Love the products.

Impressive... I could just resume this new jewel of technology with this one word, but let's detail all these incredibles features who made of this camera an impressive jewel of tech.

Here a full review of the new Reolink TrackMix, with a summary of all my PROs and CONs at the end :

{Little preamble, I unfortunately not be able to talk about the use in conjontion with a Reolink NVR because I still not have one so all my test are made using internal cams software through safari/chrome on my Mac and the iOS app on iPhone and iPad}.

-DESIGN AND INSTALLATION :
This camera look very solid and well made, nothings to envy at all the others prestigious brands of security's camera. Cute design, very small for all the techs inside ! Water resistant, you can feel the construction quality just by taking the camera in your hand !
The fixation system is really easy and convenient, you can fix it on a wall or under a roof (for exemple). Installation will be easy, you need to made 4 holes using drill pattern included. Anchors and screws are included in the package.

First connexion to your Wi-Fi network will be surprisingly easy compared with others older models, actually you will only need to scan the QR code of the camera by app then scanning a QR code showing on the app by your camera and that's it ! You will just need to choose your Wi-Fi network and password and it's done !

-IMAGE QUALITY AND ZOOM WITH DUAL-LENS :
Impressively sharp !! outstanding ! This main 8MP sensor produce gorgeous pictures !! Very rich in details and colorful (with great fidelity). I'm impressed by the gain of sharpness comparing to all my 4MP cams ! And what to tell about the secondary lens ? This one look awesome too ! This is a 4MP but this one can only show 1080p images due to processor limitation. This last offer the 6x zoom with his 8mm telephoto lens.The conjonction use of those two different lens, one for wide view (104° x 60° !!) and one 8mm for zoomed view are just perfect. This will permit you to intuitively navigate from wide lens to telephoto lens when you use zoom fonction, this will work like an iPhone 12 for exemple : at no zoom, camera use wide lens, from 0.1x to 2.7x will use digital zoom on wide lens, at 2.8x camera will swap on the telephoto lens, above 2.8x up to 6x will use digital zoom on telephoto (that also explain why they only use 2MP on telephoto lens, to be able to perform in-sensor zoom, brillant !) This way to work will lead the impressive "AI Digital tracking" feature (I talk about this in the next section).

One of the big plus of this dual-lens system is "IDual-view" feature ! with this you will have two separate view for your camera at the same time, letting you the confort to get one wide field of view AND an auto-zooming view with the help of "AI digital tracking" feature, permitting you to see the action with precision and also what occur all around !

Returning to images quality, the auto-exposure, 3DNR (noise reduction) and the encode are very good, I owned some cheap cam with worst video processing algorithms in the past and that clearly could make the difference ! Reolink show us again than they perfectly know their job.
About Video Resolution, you can't choose, this is fixed at 3840x2160 for wide lens and 1920x1080p for telephoto lens. About FPS and Bitrate you can choose from 2 to 25FPS and from 4096 to 8192kbps, but only for the main view (wide 8MP lens) the secondary view as their settings internally fixed. The field of view of this camera is also awesome, very very wide, this is a very good things to be able to see more surfaces but the cost to this will be some distortion on the side of the image (low fish-eye effect).

-AI TRACKING WITH DYNAMIC ZOOM :
That's principally why you will buy this camera !! This new concept is just incredibly smart and pleasant to use. This new way to use intelligent tracking will really change your life.
TrackMix camera are greatly named, like others PTZ camera with auto-tracking, she will track peoples, vehicles and pets on movement detection using her Pan-Tilt motor but her main difference is than she will also automatically track objects on the secondary view combining her two different lens to performing auto-zoom and in-frame tracking using "AI Digital tracking" feature !!

In settings, you will be able to choose between these 3 modes :
"lDigital tracking" this mode will perform tracking using "AI Digital tracking" only. AI will detect if objects enter in the field of view of camera, will zoom and use in-frame tracking to keep it correctly framed (not my favorite).
"lDigital tracking first" this mode will perform tracking using "AI Digital tracking" in priority (like the first mode) but the difference is, if subject move too far away of the center of the field of view of the camera, physical PT tracking will be performing.
"PT tracking first" this mode will perform tracking using physical Pan-Tilt in priority to follow objects who are moving too far away of the center, then when subject is correctly in frame camera will use "AI digital tracking" to be able to have a perfect close view of the subject (this is personally my favorite mode so far)

-AI MOTION DETECTION :
AI Motion detection work very well and can be really helpful for sorting your record between humans and vehicles detection independently, if your camera record in street with a lot of vehicles passing through that will be very very helpful for you if you want to isolate humans motion from vehicles (or vices-versa) and PET DETECTION !! This feature is still in beta but very promising, I still get some false detection time to time but this work surprisingly well !


In settings, you can set the general sensitivity and 3 separate sensitivity for AI : humans, vehicles and pets. You can create area for exclude motion detection in some specific area and also plan different sensitivity depending of hours (very useful !)
You will also be able to choose if you want to detect only human motion, only vehicles motion, both or any kind of movements . Also you can settings minimal and maximal size for both humans and vehicle detection (and now pet !) in case you get too many false detection !!

-RECORDING OPTIONS, AUDIO/LIGHT AND ALARM :
For recordings, you can choose between 3 modes, continuous record, record based on planning and motion detection. Video format is H264, no H265 (I still think for futures models that would be great to develop new chips includes H265 material encode/decode).
You can choose to record on SDcard, on NVR (Reolink or any others), on NAS (Synology, QNAP...).
You also could upload automatically your record on your FTP server if you want to secure your SDcard directly from your TrackMix camera.

The night vision LEDs are very powerful, include night and day detection and auto IR-filter. You could also disable it if you prefer to use natural colors in night with external light for exemple.
Or you could also choose the option to activate the 2 powerful white LEDs when movement is detected, this will shutdown the 2 IR LEDs and IR-Filter to enjoy perfectly lighted and colored images !

With the TrackMix you will be able to use 2 ways audio ! One mic and one speaker are on this camera, so you can ear what's happen around your cam but also talk through her.
Other very useful feature is audio alarm on motion detection, you can activate it in settings and the camera produce a very loud (and adjustable) alarm sound on detection and even better, a personalized message with your voice !!! You can program if you want this all the time or only on certain period of the days.

-NETWORK CONNECTIVITY AND SDCARD :
This camera come with two fixed WIFI antenna, dual band MIMO (2.4 and 5Ghz) 802.11n.
I would clearly love to get WIFI 5AC (or even better : WIFI 6AX) on this new camera... maybe on future models... that will certainly extend the range and stability with compatible router, for exemple, the difference of strength signal between this cam and my iPhone 12, connected on the same network (eero pro 6) and at the exact same location, we can see the strength of the WiFi signal clearly lower with Reolink camera than with iPhone, that could result in less effective range in comparison with more efficient and modern WIFI protocols.
You can also use Ethernet (10/100) if you want more stability or if you want to install your camera very far of your router.

Now about micro SDCard compatibility, you can use up to 256Gb ! For those who not have an NVR or NAS, that would clearly be suffisent to record locally for weeks with a lot of motion detection !
When your SDcard will be full, your older records will be delete automatically one by one to records new ones perpetually.

-SOFTWARE/MOBILE APP AND PLAYBACK :
From all the apps of security system I used so far, the Reolink is one of my favorite. Tested on iOS (iPad and iPhone), this application is by far one of the best I tested. Even if some little things need to be improved or added to be perfect, this app is easily accessible and very complete, you can access to "almost" all the settings of your camera, without any particular competence so you could custom a lot of settings and made work your camera exactly how you want to.This app is very responsive, the interface is clear and complete, the interaction with every feature are natural and well made.

The playback menu is also very well made, you can choose specific date, if you want to see all detection or only specifics ones (like human detection for exemple). You have a chronological band with blue marker for each detection, you just need to press or slide your finger on and video will be played ! You can also choose speed of play and downloading parts of records. One default about playback (in my opinion) is about the max duration when you want to download record from the sd card from app, 120s max per file, if you want to download lot of files you will loose a lot of time, so you will prefer to get out the sd card to do it... There is a thing to improve imo.
To improve this app some little things need to be added, like landscape mode on iPad for the entire app, actually you can only have landscape mode for full screen view.
Other little thing will be to add a preview pic or gif when you receive a notification from the app for movement detection (like some smart doorbell does for exemple).

The internal software of Reolink cameras are also very well made. Tested on Safari and chrome browser (Mac os and iOS). The interface of the internal software are clear and smooth, a lot of settings can be customized. OTA firmware update are possible with an option for auto-update, that a very cool feature !

GOOD TO KNOW : if you want to use all feature at 100%, I recommend to record on a SD Card or even better, on a compatible Reolink NVR. I tried recording on my Synology through Surveillance Station and this is totally work but Surveillance Station is not as better as Reolink software in my opinion. Settings and sorting depending on AI detection are more complicated and less efficient than on Reolink software (app or NVR).

-Now a little summary of all my PROs and CONs :

-Image quality are impressive ! fluidity, great colors and awesome sharpness
-8MP sensor really made the difference
-Two different sensor with different focal lens ! (allow awesome hybrid zoom and in-frame tracking)

-Third party Software Compatibility are solid (so far I could tell)

CONs or improvement suggestion :

-WiFi 5 (AC) or WIFI 6 (AX) would be appreciable for more stability and extend range
-Max duration for download record from the sd card with the app are too short
-Only H264 encode, for next models I would love a chip capable of H265 encodings
-Only 1080p on the secondary view, I would love to have 2160p too.
-Some improvement need to be achieved on their compression algorithm in objective to improve the clarity on quick movements and quick PT tracking.
-This last one is just a suggestion for your next high end camera :p
Having two different lens for dual-view feature are very great, awesome idea than I love and will really change the way we use our security camera, but what about using a variable optical zoom on the seconds lens ? why not using two identical sensor, one for the wide view, without zoom, and the other one with 10 or 20x optical zoom ?? This could be very powerful combining to your "AI digital tracking" algorithm, this could be named "AI optical tracking" ;)

First off, I'm not a huge fan of the battery cameras in general, mostly because of their numerous limitations compared to a POE camera with much higher resolution, higher frame rates, 24/7 recording, etc., etc., etc., but it's hard to argue a wireless cam's usefulness for situations where a hard-wired solution is simply not feasible. For these scenarios, I have found the Argus 3 Pros to be an excellent choice and a solid solution with superior Wi-Fi range and image quality over another wireless camera. The Trackmix is a cut above the Argus in almost every way.

Currently I have a challenging area I'm being asked to monitor, and I needed something that would capture a little more detail than the Argus 3 Pro is able to, like possibly a license plate. After following their release and seeing a few demos and reviews, I finally pulled the trigger on a Trackmix, (Battery) and I'm glad I did. I still can't capture clear license plates on a slow-moving vehicle, but the auto tracking feature keeps the vehicle in frame so much longer that you gather other details that help identify the vehicle in other ways. I'm also optimistic that between settings and camera placement, I can make it do the job I require.

What sold me was the concept of a dual lens with one lens to capture the overview, while the other lens remains zoomed in and focused to capture more detail. So far I haven't figured out how to keep the second lens at full zoom but I'm playing with all the different settings to find the best balance I can. There are a ton of settings, and this is the first camera series to offer independent settings for each smart detection mode, which is very nice. After just a couple days of use, I already see where this camera is well above the Argus 3 Pros in so many ways.

I've played with the autotracking feature on my RLC-423's with mixed feelings but the Trackmix has a few more settings to play with as well as digital and optical tracking. It also zooms in where the RLC's only pan and tilt. I'm focusing on vehicle detection now, but this camera lets you set the PIR detection levels and regions independent from the smart detection settings. It also features the ability to limit the range in which it tracks horizontally. I wasn't specifically looking for this feature, so I am pleasantly surprised at how much more effective it makes the camera. Instead of capturing a vehicle for 5 seconds as it passes through the fixed view, I now get a full-length video as soon as the vehicle turns off the main road, travels down the full length of my property and into a housing development under construction behind us.

The only complaint I have so far is that upon wakening, the recorded image takes too long to settle in at full resolution. Since my application is trying to capture license plates, the vehicle is typically passed out of effective range by the time the image has settled into a decent enough quality to make out the plate. So, the first 2-3 seconds of the footage is blurry at best, which is likely the most important pieces of the footage in many cases since these cams do not have the ability to pre-record prior to a trigger event. Hopefully this is a software issue that can be resolved with future updates, otherwise I'll be looking for the next generation of these with a faster wake up time.

P.S. A herd of wild hogs has been visiting our property and the second night after installation, we captured some great footage of them and their babies foraging on our lawn. The autotracking feature moved with them and zoomed in to capture some pics that you never would have gotten otherwise. Thanks to the wider view and autotracking feature, we got 45 minutes of footage where the fixed cam would have only triggered 2-3 times for 30-40 seconds each. Play that scenario out with thieves or vandals and that extra 40 minutes of footage is now very important key evidence!

I won this Trackmix WiFi camera as part of a product test. However, this should not influence my report.

What was included in the test package?

The Android app provided by Reolink for testing only works on my Google Pixel 6 without problems. Was looking for replacement camera's for my old Wansview Cloud camera's. I picked yours for the features and tech.
Cost was higher but it would be worth higher price if it stood up to it's build and tech fweatures. However after a month the vehicle detection does not work anylonger and I thought it might have to due with the cold temps outside, but not the case. It's warmer outside now and this feature still doen not work, recycled power, did several other attempts but no luck. I will be pressing on to find something else I have 16 camera's to replace, was hopeful this one was it, but .....this review is for camera: Reolink TrackMix WiFi 4K Dual-Lens PTZ Camera with Motion Tracking

Of all the ones I have purchased this is by far the best with a very fair price. Customer service is outstanding and very helpful. This camera tracks any person/vehicle or animal that comes into range and follows it alerting you immediately so you can log in and see what's happening at home. I have been able to log in from just about anywhere and navigate the camera. The preset monitor point allows me to log out quickly and know it's going back where it belongs on its own unless something else happens. Very wide view plus the split screen works well. You can keep a wide view on one and zoom in on your object with the other. Both video and audio work well and the picture is clear. I also really like being able to be wireless but have a hard copy of the videos on a sim card. It seems to be very easy to navigate the system and set things up compared to other cameras. I really wish I had found this one before I bought the others.

I've had Reolink cameras for a while now, and most have been solar powered, including an Argus PT I bought for the front yard. While it works okay, the motion sensor hasn't been reliable and I really wanted auto tracking. Then I saw the Trackmix. This camera is by far my favorite! It literally has all the features I have been looking for in a camera. The picture clarity is great, the motion detection is great, auto tracking is great, and the connection has been great! The only negative that I can say about it is it doesn't back up videos to the Cloud, but I'm hoping that's available soon. This camera is well worth the money! Let me also say that I'm not paid to review this, nor do I receive any kind of kickback. I'm a middle aged woman who likes having the peace of mind these cameras offer me, especially when I'm home alone or out of town. I will be buying another one for my back yard and replacing my solar powered Argus PT. I also got the floodlight and that thing is awesome as well. Great combo added to my security system that I highly recommend!

Je tenais à partager mon expérience avec la gamme complète Reolink, comprenant 8 caméras - dont 6 dômes et 2 caméras PTZ TrackMix - ainsi qu'un interphone Reolink. Mon enthousiasme pour la marque n'est pas un secret ; je suis convaincu par l'excellent rapport qualité-prix de leur matériel.

Cependant, je dois avouer que le système NVR m'a légèrement déçu en raison de sa détection parfois imprécise. Pour pallier ce souci, j'ai dû intégrer une solution complémentaire dédiée à la détection de personnes. Par ailleurs, j'ai rencontré un problème de buée sur les modèles TrackMix, ce qui est un point à considérer.

Malgré ces petits aléas, ma confiance en Reolink reste intacte. Je continue d'être un fervent ambassadeur de la marque, allant jusqu'à installer leurs solutions chez mes amis et clients. - Nachbar Grundstück schwärzen ist nur statisch was bei einer PTZ Kamera extrem ungeschickt ist. Ich hoffe hier wird es ein SW Update geben. Da sonst ist die PTZ Kamera unbrauchbar für Hauseinfahrten usw.
- Nachtsicht ist mit der Mitgelieferten Halterung unbrauchbar, wenn die Kamera an der Hauswand montiert ist wird die IR Leistung massiv runtergeregelt da sie teilweise die Weiße Wand anscheint. Gut wäre es wenn per SW die IR Leistung geregelt werden könnte und nicht nur Auto. Oder eine längere Halterung. Ich hoffe das dies per FW Update behoben wird.
- Keine Erkennung möglich siehe Bild. Problem ist das die IR Leistung auf ein Minimum sich runterregelt somit sieht die Kamera nichts mehr.

Wenn der IR Punkt per SW regelbar wird gibts 4 Sterne und 5 wenn Privacy Mask dynamisch funktioniert.

Da Wunder erwarte ich jetzt nicht für den Preis. Wer eine günstige Kamera kaufen möchte kann damit nix falsch machen. Ist halt nicht perfekt. Für perfekt gibts Mobotix aber die kostet mindestens 8 mal so viel.

I have a total of 30 cams of various models for work and home, the Trac mix are incredible. The tracking spotlight is a fantastic safety feature for postal and package deliveries that come after dark. My driveway one is handy for scaring coyotes from in front of my gate. Notifications are slow more than not, could not get 2 hubs to work either at home or work (design should include all models to work) a total of 3 cams were trashed after connecting to the hubs. Not sure who's idea it was to change how to adjust the camera order (before just move the one you want to the position you want it in. Now it's a pain to play leap frog to adjust the order. Obviously they don't have a large amount of cameras.) I was a loyal customer but taking steps backwards is a poor way to keep custom rention. The last update to the client would not work on 2 of my laptops and I had to find a old setup to get them back. Support did send me a copy of the previous version 36 hours after my request but my work cameras are critical and have to be monitored 24/7/365

Ich habe die Kamera für die Überwachung der Haustür gekauft. Per HomeAssistant Integration sollen Personen vor der Haustür erkannt und dann automatisch die Visualisierung auf das Kamerabild umgeschaltet werden. Nach meinen Recherchen wird das auch gehen (noch nicht umgesetzt).
Die Integration ist recht umfangreich, wichtig ist mir, dass die Kamera als Sensor für Bewegungen verwendet werden kann.
Die Kamera liefert ein gutes Bild. Man kann zwischen klar (hohe Auflösung) und Flüssig (niedrige Auflösung, aber kürzere Belichtung) wählen. Bei "klar" sind die Bilder bei nicht optimaler Beleuchtung oft verschwommen, so dass man nichts von der hohen Auflösung hat.
Die Objektverfolgung funktioniert gut. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Kamera.
Dennoch ein paar Kritiken:
1. Die 360 Grad Drehung hat eine Begrenzung. So wie ich die Kamera montieren musste, ist die Grenze direkt im gewünschten Drehbereich. D.h. ich kann nur in die andere Richtung frei drehen, damit filme ich aber die Hauswand. Man müsste den Bregrenzungpunkt verstellen können.
2. Meine vorherige Eufy war in der Nachtsicht besser. Ich filme an einer Hauswand entlang, weil ich ja den Eingang im Blick haben möchte. Mit Scheinwerfer oder Infrarot ist im Dunkeln die Hauswand sehr hell, wodurch der zu beobachtende Bereich eigentlich komplett schwarz bleibt. Sinnvoll kann ich also nur ohne Licht filmen. Dabei bin ich auf das Umgebungslicht angewiesen, was die Objekterkennung erschwert.
3. Allgemein würde ich mir eine feststehende Kamera (keine Dome) wünschen, die man 90 Grad drehen kann. Ich habe einen 3m breiten Streifen vor dem Haus, damit ist bei waagrechter Aufnahme 80% den Bildes entweder Hauswand oder Straße, die ich nicht filmen darf. Man kann die Kameras zwar gedreht aufhängen, aber das Bild ist dann auch gedreht und die Objekterkennung funktioniert nicht mehr.

Ich habe drei Reolink Track Mix Kameras installiert und bin im großen und ganzen sehr zufrieden. Zwei negative Punkte seien aber dennoch erwähnt:
1. Ich frage mich, warum es keine dynamische Privatsphärenmaske für dieses Modell gibt. Eine starre Maske ergibt bei diesen Kameras überhaupt gar keinen Sinn.
2. Wählt man als Überwachungspunkt eine extreme Position (tilt), dann dreht sich die Kamera bei der Verfolgung gerne in die falsche Richtung und "verfährt" sich, so dass die Person nicht weiter verfolgt werden kann und schnell aus dem Blickfeld der Kamera verschwindet.

J'ai une caméra Track Mix Wifi et je l'aime bien, sauf que...
Une meilleur explication technique des paramètres serait apprécié, heureusement il y a YouTube mais faut chercher. Parfois la détection se fait avec un certain retard et aussi la caméra se déconnecte de l'appli.
Je recommande tout de même ce produit et je comte m'en procurer d'autres.

I use these cameras to monitor construction sites. I have also installed many varieties of Reolink cameras for multiple customers as a supplement to very high end stand alone cameras that are 3-4x the cost of Reolink. They supplement my customers needs well.
REOLINK- PLEASE MAKE A LOW PASS FILTER CAMERA FOR LICENSES PLATE CAPTURE AT NIGHT!!!

The Reolink TrackMix WiFi is a great security camera. It is my very first security camera to ever own and I am glad I chose Reolink. While having it in use for at least over a week now, I am not regretting anything. The app UI is easy to use and not complicated. You can adjust all kinds of settings in the app like the display, audio, detection, etc. all to your liking! The 4K resolution quality recorded on this camera is amazing, and that’s for the wide angle lens! Whereas the telephoto lens can only record up to 1080p. The clarity and sharpness for day time video quality is impressive. Night time video quality is exceptional. I have noticed a bit of the “ghosting” effect for night time recording in my experience, but it is nothing significant. The motion detection is great and notifications are quick. I would like to see rich notifications with Reolink though! While I have had my settings to auto track persons and pets only so far, it has performed well. I’ve had no issues with internet connections. I connected my Reolink camera with my Amazon Alexa echo dot, but I don’t get motion alert announcements from the device. I messed around with the settings and still can’t seem to get, but it’s not a big issue for me. If you’re looking for a security camera with amazing video quality, easy and quick set up, user friendly app, and great features like Pan-Tilt-Zoom/auto tracking, you should invest in the Reolink TrackMix! I will definitely be staying within the Reolink ecosystem for my next purchases of security cameras.

I'm a seasoned IT professional and have dealt with video surveillance security for years now. For my home, I'm currently using multiple E1 Pro and E1 Outdoor PTZ cameras from ReoLink. While they're not perfect (firmware needs a little improvement - i.e., the network stack doesn't support multiple SSID's on the same band - which leads to wifi connectivity problems when guest WiFi and home WiFi both run over the same bands - so the fix for stable connectivity is to have a dedicated WiFi router with a dedicated band just for the video cameras), I think they hit the sweet spot for home usage. Security seems OK (I would expand the password field length, to be honest), and quality of the video feed is surprisingly good, given the cost. Overall ReLink, I think, have done a decent job. Bonus points for being able to use 3rd party NVR software to manage the cameras (I use open-source NVR at my house), bonus points for being able to set up motion alerts with notifications pushed to my phone, and more bonus points for being able to see live video feed on my phone directly from the cameras while I'm away. How happy am I with ReoLink? Let's say that I've returned Blink, Wyze and other video surveillance vendors' equipment due to either laughable security (i.e., passwords can only be letters, or only letters and numbers in better cases, and only 8 characters long -yes!), or due to UNSECURED video cloud storage (Wyze, that's you!), Vendor ecosystem lock-in (you're forced to only use the vendors' cloud services, which is an additional subscription), etc.
I'm actually looking to add more ReoLink cameras to my set-up (my family thinks my house is Fort Knox).

Hola me gustaria saber por que no carga ya que en el adaptador lo que une la carga solar con la camara esta en Naranja siempre y no en verde me podeis ayudar? Alguna recomendacion?
