This camera is an interesting one. It isn't for everyone but its unique set of features might be a good one. We had the previous 2K WiFi version and this one is a fantastic upgrade.
The most important thing to understand about this is that it is two cameras in a single housing that provides you with a double-wide field of view but it is through two distinct video streams. Depending on your situation this might be annoying or a great advantage. Having two separate video streams means that you can set up motion alerts independently. If you are using the camera to cover a single area, this seems like it could be annoying. We are using the camera to cover an area of our driveway where we often have packages delivered. Being able to have the left camera where the packages might be set more sensitively and the right camera which covers a more general part of the yard set to be less sensitive is an advantage for us.
I also like how the two streams can be set side by side in the 4-up view in the app so they look reasonably seamless. We now have a few of these ultra-wide cameras and it covers 3/4 of the way around our house.
The POE version is fantastic. Being a wired connection the video quality is great and not having to worry about wifi connectivity is a really nicer bonus.
The Reolik software is definitely full-featured although I've found it a little challenging to find all the specific features. I feel like it is a bit more of an enterprise product that is trying to stretch into the consumer market and at some point, we'll see a complete rewrite of their app from scratch focused on making it easy to use. We also have the ReoLink NVR and setting it up with that was really easy too.
Overall very happy with the "REOLINK 4K PoE Security Camera System, IP Outdoor Camera in 180掳 FoV by Dual-Lens, Human/Vehicle/Pet Detection, Color Night Vision, Two Way Talk, Up to 256GB Micro SD Card, Reolink Duo 2 PoE".

I liked the DUO POE 4k Camera so much that this was actually the second one I purchased. I configured the camera so that it records continuously. It is very clear and the audio recording is very sensitive. It provides a 180 degree vantage point and stiches the video together seamlessly. The Reolink App allows you to search for people, cars, animals, any motion or set by a timer. The AI could be a little better in identifying animals and people, but a beautiful video, day or night. Good Job Reolink. I've attached a video I saved of a huge storm coming through Louisville and you can hear a train that is a couple miles away. You will see what I am trying to express in regards to the excellent acoustics, as well as video.

Exceptional Dual camera view its truly better quality I have witness I can’t wait to buy the dome and doorbell with the same 16MP. Keep me posted and keep up moving the market forward with quality equipment.
Please expand your NVR and provide larger TB, along with Audio-live ports for communication on all NVR

I was excited read about the Duo 3 and quickly ordered one to replace a RLC-810A to get the 180 degree view. I quickly became aware that my clarity decreased with the change. When I dug into the specs, what I missed was because that the vertical field of view (FOV) was increased from 44 degrees (RLC_810A) to 55 degrees (Duo 3) and the horizontal FOV changed from 87 to 90, the picture quality decreased significantly. I love the 180 degree view but the loss of clarity is very disappointing. If the vertical FOV had been kept the same, the picture quality would have been much more acceptable. From a security perspective, you lose too much detail and would be better off with two RLC0810A's mounted side by side.

Coming from someone who has fairly decent professional and personal experience with cameras. This cam is ranks up there. It performs and affordable. I know my set up a little different than the norm. But IR is great, Color as night is great, motion detection is great. The install was fairly easy.
Here's a 1 thing that bug me, but it's not a game changer. I wish there was an area when you set motion detection, that you can select which area of the FOV you want to set. As of now, you just crank up or down the sensitivity. They have a section where you can set NO detection, which is GREAT. It would be awesome if they had an opposite option. (motion works great regardless, but it would be nice to have)
The "auto" settings in the "brightness shadows" section doesn't set very well for ME. I assume it does the best it can for the basic user. Turning it off and manually adjusting it, worked out better for me. (Not a Con, just my preference) If you're not happy with the IR/ Night Color settings, manually turn off the Brightness Shadows Auto settings and manually adjust it to get what works best for you.
My cam is about 15 feet in the air looking over my driveway. The Spotlight is VERY bright! The speaker can be heard fairly well. I'm very impressed by that.
When you first get this cam, turn up the bitrate to max to get the best quality view. Make sure you have a decent network to support it.
The cool thing about this is ONVIF RTSP stream. I have it recording to SD card and streaming full time to my Synology NAS. So I get the best of both worlds. The APP my family uses for quick reference, while I got a full stream recording, just in case I have to scrub through the footage. Which I use the Synology APP also.
Right off the bat, this cam performs! it takes a little adjusting of the settings to make it work for you. But it runs right out of the box. The APP is easy to use. This is the total package!

Great camera but since it does have 180 degree field of view I have problems the rains gutters coming into my field of view too close. You can use privacy block to eliminate the view and make it a bit less wide but here is the problem. The Infa red lights and spotlight when on relfect off the gutters and come back inot the lense and at night make it unusable. The answer I found was just disable all the lights. I wish they offered more accesories so on my wall mount I could have dropped the camera down about 12 inches lower to avoid my problem but they dont. I needed to re-use the wall mount as that is where my older Reolink camera was mounted

I bought the Duo 2 POE as an upgrade to replace one of the original Duo POE's that I received as a beta tester. The original unit was decent but I was looking to upgrade the resolution as I use it view wildlife in the back yard and I was not able to zoom in with any decent clarity. While the Duo 2 offers a huge improvement in Field of View and overall resolution, the zoomed image of the 8MP model is somehow worse than the 4MP version. It's a great image for simple viewing, especially for a panoramic view but it degrades at even the slighest use of zoom. This may be partially due from them stitching both views into a single image now where the original unit allowed to view each cam feed individually, or it's just math with more pixels spread out over a larger area equals less final resolution. Hopefully it's more the first reason as future firmware or client changes may offer some options currently not available. I'd like the option to view each camera individually like the original version to see if that offers any improvement.
Since it still provides an impressive panoramic, I plan to keep this view and supplement it with one of the RLC-823A's with 16x zoom to get the details I want from our wildlife. To be honest, I was probably going to do this anyways because the only thing I like more than Reolink cameras is close-ups of our wildlife. :)
