I'm using this camera in an area with very weak service so any faults I have with it are likely network related. Streams are slow and jerky, live connections are spotty and intermittent and so I've really only been using the time lapse function and pulling jobsite stills a few times a day and for that it's working brilliantly. Every once in awhile I'll get a strong signal and can get a glimpse at what the camera can really offer.

I have the camera and solar panel mounted on an aluminum plate backed with magnets so I can move it around out our jobsite and follow the construction phases. I've had it indoors for the past month without access to the sun and have found the battery to last 12 days before needing a charge. Charging takes 4-5 hours with a rapid charger which is pretty reasonable but when possible, I still recommend the solar panel since it keeps the cams fully charged and allows for nearly constant streaming.

I'm currently on a prepaid T-Mobile package that expired a few days ago so I am about to switch it to the EIOTCLUB SIM card that Reolink recommended. I will follow up on how that procedure works out but I'm sure it was just as easy as the T-mobile card. Basically I inserted the pre-activated card and powered it on and it worked. I did find that the camera would drop it's connection in areas of really poor service and I had to cycle power in order to get it to reconnect once back in areas of relatively decent service again. I'm sure it would have reconnected automatically had I been patient and waited a bit longer but it's good to know you can force reconnection by simply pulling the battery for a few seconds.

I've got a Go PT on this same site and plan to purchase a few more of these cams to monitor our construction progress. The PT function is very nice but does not trump the 4MP resolution of the Go Plus. We currently use a very expensive professional grade TimeLapse cam that costs us $600/week so I'm really pushing for a fleet of these smaller cams that give us far more user access for a fraction of the cost. I can have a fleet of Reolink Go cams across multiple sites for what the other camera costs us a month.

One of the things I struggle most with these cams is the adjusting setup. I'm using them in an industrial environment with lots of vibration so if they aren't super tight, then the cams droop over time. If I get them to tight, the threads bind and I need tool to break them loose to readjust. On this last cam, I smeared the threads and pivoting points with a thin layer of silicone grease. Now the adjustment is smooth and nimble and allows for much easier adjustment and I don't need to carry tools anymore,

We've had the Reolink Go Plus for a little over three years and it was worked flawlessly. We have it placed in a woodland setting and at times it takes a moment to boot up but the camera has been super reliable.

Verstehe nicht wieso kann man die Support Seite nicht in Deutsch auswählen und wieso gibt es eigentlich auch keine Anleitung für die App.
Sonst alles bestens, Deutsche Bedienungsanleitung für die Dinge die man fast alle weiss und funktioniert auch einwandfrei das Gerät. Nur wenn man kein English kann ist alles andere einfach nur übel.
Und wieso gibt es für die Dinge die man weiss Deutsche Bedienungsanleitung aber für die App nichts, kann man nicht verstehen.

I have a couple of family members that live on cattle ranches and I could see this being a great way to monitor a more remote pasture or even at the barn so they could actually speak to one another while say, my aunt is in the house making lunch and my uncle is breaking hay bales for the couple of horses they keep to tend to the cattle. My aunt could see where he is and call out that lunch will be on the table in 20 minutes and he then knows to get a move on! But as for me, I had thought this would be a camera I could mount near the three bird feeding stations and watch squirrels (and yuck! rats!) trying to get to the bird food and maybe yell at them to make them run away. Problem is, I have WIFI and surely don't need to get a SIM card to work with an app. I will ask my family members if this will work for them since I cannot use this as I don't want to pay a monthly fee for that SIM card.

Bought this product and it is a dime! I have a ranch in a remote location and do not have any issues! Reviews that say “it says loading and nothing else.” It’s probably the service! I ended up buying one more after giving the first one a try!

So I got this camera to monitor my job site. Without the solar panel the battery lasts 3 weeks. I was expecting a little longer battery life but I will just have to hang the solar charger as well.

I absolutely love this camera. In dog trapping we need to observe the animals behaviour while conditioning. Often we can not be close to the area due to the dogs anxiety. When we are ready to trap we can watch from a distance and once contained attend quickly. Being able to watch live is really helpful as is recording. I have not been in any areas that the internet has caused any issues. I am hoping to get another of these cameras but as i do this voluntary i will have to save to purchase more.
