This camera has a very wide field of view. It is ideal for people who want the most bang for your buck from a single camera. The field of view is very close to being 180 degrees. If you place this in your front or back yard it will easily allow you to see every inch of your property from left to right.

I am very impressed with the zoom function as well. I typically access my cameras through my desktop app, and when i use my scroll wheel to zoom in on one particular area of the camera I lose very little resolution. Most cameras have the ability to zoom, but with other cameras the image becomes very pixelated the more you zoom in. This camera remains very crisp even when zoomed in on a very small section of the overall field of view of the camera. That will give me the ability to read a license plate or get a very clear image of a face if need be.

The camera connects wirelessly to my wifi network, and I have had no issues getting a signal even though my router is on the opposite side of my home. I have other wifi cameras that can be a bit stubborn logging in from time to time, but the large antennas on this camera seem to do a very good job of grabbing the signal without fail.

Overall this camera is a great option for a person who wants a single mount to cover a very large area. The strength of the antenna and wide field of view will allow you to place it anywhere on your property without worry of the camera missing something when you need it most.
