I installed the Argus PT 2 months ago on the roof of my house at a height of 10 meters to have a 360 view of the surroundings. Heat, wind, rain,... it resists bad weather. The battery charge is usually between 96 and 100%. So far I am 100% satisfied. 5 Stars.

Regarding motion detection, notifications are a little late (3 to 5 seconds after the event). The movement of the surrounding trees greatly disrupts the detection of movements even by limiting the fields in the application. 3 Stars.

A plus would be to be able to save the positions of the camera by giving them a name, then to use these positions at various times of the day (day / night, or garden / entrance / front / back,...). This would make an automatic 360.

Ich finde die argus PT so ja nicht schlecht
Aber die Aufnahmen sind so spät das die Person
Die ausgelöst hat schon 90% wieder weg ist
Mann sieht nur noch das weg Gehen
Und den Rücken Schade eigentlich
Ich denke ein software update Mus das Problem
Lösen Können also bitte !

Be aware that battery operated cameras do not support pre-recording. this means that when viewing videos taken you will not likely see the person or car that activated the motion alert as it has driven past by the time the camera has started recording. Not good for surveillance!

Camera has been having an off and on in connectivity. Wifi is not the problem as other cameras working just fine. Just my argus pt. Wanted to put second camera out and was about to get wifi extended since its a couple fence post short where I want it but now putting a hold on the idea. The arlo camera a few feet out from the argus working just fine so my wifi working. Rebooted phone for app issue . Laptop app not connecting as well. Before laptop would always work. Im guessing either camera or app is issue. Last time connected appears 01;01;01; which is very strange. Otherwise when got this camera a couple months ago worked better than arlo. Cold didnt bother it and stayed working when -20 . Like the ptz and solar option. Great picture in full moon light. Just not connecting when I need it now. I got alert just now but can not view.

Wenn eine Person vor der Haustür- Kamera steht und ich im Wohnzimmer sitze ( ca.5m entfernt) , kann sie mich und ich sie nicht deutlich verstehen, obwohl der Ton auf volle Lautstärke steht.
Eine Kommunikation mit einem Paketboten wie in der Werbung ist völlig unmöglich.

Die reolink Version 8.15.6 vom 23. Jan. 2024 weicht erheblich vom hierzu aktuellen Benutzerhandbuch ab. Auch ist in der Software deie FTP-Einstellung nicht zu finden? Die gibt es offensichtlich nicht mehr? Die Möglichkeit per FTP zu speichern, war für mich ein Grund, diese Camera zu kaufen. Die Camera ist mit Motor Drehen und Neigen ausgerüstet. Das dies einstellbar, zeitgesteuert automatisch abläuft, war für mich eigentlich logisch. Es ist von der Betriebssoftware her jedoch nicht möglich. Geht nur über manuelles Absteuern per Handy oder PC. Das ist ein Unding für eine solche Camera! Es ist dringend erforderlich, die Betriebssoftware entsprechend an zu passen, ansonsten macht die Camera wenig Sinn! Ich bin einigermassen enttäuscht!

In the Argus PT, the email function is a very good idea, and if in addition to this a new function of being able to send an image every 5 or 10 minutes to an ftp or NAS disk was implemented... I think this, would be very good for users who are dedicated to capturing images of meteorology or similar activities. An added value for battery-powered cameras. Much more valuable cameras.

Da 10 gg. circa, sto provando per la prima volta una telecamera (Reolink) : Argus PT
La scelta è andata su questo modello per : facilità di montaggio, qualità (dalle recensioni) e prezzo abbordabile. Il prodotto mi è arrivato in condizioni perfette e dovutamente sigillato.
Con mia sorpresa ho riscontrato anche facilità nell'installazione e configurazione su pc e smartphone.
Se devo fare una critica dico che potevano integrare nella funzionalità di questa telecamera lo "spostamento automatico dei punti di preset". Serve soprattutto se bisogna monitorare ampi spazi esterni...

Die Kamera fährt die Positionen nicht automatisch an, lediglich der Rücklauf zum Wachpunkt ist möglich.
Das macht so keinen Sinn, da die Kamera App sogar die Möglichkeit bietet, verschiedene Positionen zu speichern und manuell anzufahren, leider nicht automatisch. Laut Herstellerbeschreibung sollte das funktionieren, ist leider nicht so. Da sind andere Hersteller weiter.

Simple installation + easy to use.
I liked the email feature and the quality of the pictures.
An area for improvement: the solar panel mounting mechanism. I'm not sure if it's strong enough
to resist heavy rain/wind.
