Switched out new Argus PT Ultra for older Argus PT. Camera is much better - very happy. Only issue is that I planned to use same existing brackets/mounts for solar panel and camera. Not sure why but the length of the new solar 2.0 panel is shorter than the original. Ugh, made an easy switch out job into longer aggravating task rerouting cable. Be nice if the cable length was listed in the package contents summary.

Ich habe die ARGUS PT Lite gekauft, nachdem ich gelesen habe, dass der Zugriff auf einen FTP-Server funktioniert. Jetzt stellt sich heraus, dass die App keine Möglichkeit hat, den FTP-Server zu adressieren. Der FTP-server ist der Route mit der IP-Adresse 192.168.2.1. Hier benötige ich Unterstützung.

Wenn eine Person vor der Haustür- Kamera steht und ich im Wohnzimmer sitze ( ca.5m entfernt) , kann sie mich und ich sie nicht deutlich verstehen, obwohl der Ton auf volle Lautstärke steht.
Eine Kommunikation mit einem Paketboten wie in der Werbung ist völlig unmöglich.

Camera has been having an off and on in connectivity. Wifi is not the problem as other cameras working just fine. Just my argus pt. Wanted to put second camera out and was about to get wifi extended since its a couple fence post short where I want it but now putting a hold on the idea. The arlo camera a few feet out from the argus working just fine so my wifi working. Rebooted phone for app issue . Laptop app not connecting as well. Before laptop would always work. Im guessing either camera or app is issue. Last time connected appears 01;01;01; which is very strange. Otherwise when got this camera a couple months ago worked better than arlo. Cold didnt bother it and stayed working when -20 . Like the ptz and solar option. Great picture in full moon light. Just not connecting when I need it now. I got alert just now but can not view.

In the Argus PT, the email function is a very good idea, and if in addition to this a new function of being able to send an image every 5 or 10 minutes to an ftp or NAS disk was implemented... I think this, would be very good for users who are dedicated to capturing images of meteorology or similar activities. An added value for battery-powered cameras. Much more valuable cameras.

Da 10 gg. circa, sto provando per la prima volta una telecamera (Reolink) : Argus PT
La scelta è andata su questo modello per : facilità di montaggio, qualità (dalle recensioni) e prezzo abbordabile. Il prodotto mi è arrivato in condizioni perfette e dovutamente sigillato.
Con mia sorpresa ho riscontrato anche facilità nell'installazione e configurazione su pc e smartphone.
Se devo fare una critica dico che potevano integrare nella funzionalità di questa telecamera lo "spostamento automatico dei punti di preset". Serve soprattutto se bisogna monitorare ampi spazi esterni...

leider ist die Kamera mit dem dazu einsetzbarem Solarpanel in Breitengraden wie Deutschland nur bedingt einsetzbar. Sobald die Temperatur im Winter unter 1 Grad Celsius sinkt, wird die Kamera nicht mehr geladen. Dann ist der Akku leer und zum Neustart muss man händisch mit Strom aufladen und die Cam neu starten.

Hallo,
ich habe mich für diese Kamera entschieden, weil ich schon eine Reolink Kamera habe.
In der Küche habe ich ein Tablet stehen wo die Reolink App drauf läuft.
Ich habe die Kamera direkt mit Strom verbunden und nicht über das Solarpanel.
Leider ist es so das die Kamera nach einiger Zeit kein Bild mehr anzeigt. Dann muss man sich erst wieder neu verbinden. Ich habe beim Support nachgefragt, aber leider kann man die Funktion bei Kameras mit Akku nicht ausschalen.
Deswegen von mir nur 3 Sterne. Also Bild etc. sind sonst in guter Qualität.

  that's funny, yesterday when I just left my message here about my solar panel, he started working again for about 30 minutes, then slowly. But that is not a problem for me, I have a micro usb cable, ac adaptor and plug in(wall socket), 15 minutes so fast 100%, that;s it. Important and so important, my camera gotcha everything day/night view.

Ho acquistato due di queste telecamere e le ho posizionate agli angoli opposti della casa per sorvegliare la quasi totalità del giardino che la circonda. Facilissima installazione e utilizzo intuitivo dell'app. Ricezione wifi ottima. Il pannello solare permette di mantenerle sempre cariche. Ho inserito microsd da 32 gb. La funzione di rilevamento è ottima, cosí come la visione notturna in B/N. Molto divertente lo slow motion. Sono soddisfattissimo dell'acquisto che consiglio vivamente a chi sta cercando un buon prodotto, senza dover spendere una fortuna.

Die Kamera in Verbindung mit dem Solarpanel kann tatsächlich als Stand-Alone System betrieben werden. Der Akku muss nicht extern aufgeladen werden, das erledigt das Solar Panel auch bei wenig Tageslicht. Eine interne Speicherkarte würde ich empfehlen, oder die Speichermöglichkeit auf einer NAS ist auch zu empfehlen. Gelungenes Produkt für alle, die nicht überall Strom und Netzkabel zu Verfügung haben.

Love this camera for my driveway. We have a long driveway, and we were able to install in in a location with now power. Still needs to be near the house as it's wifi, but I was able to the accessory wifi extender to extra my range a bit. It's not 24/7 record but it reconrd based on motion detection and sends out a notification immediately.

My only complaint is that I wish it have pixel detect rather than PRD, the PRD is good but it doesn't have much range, maybe about 15 feet. But regardless it suits my needs until I can get power ran for a continuous recording camera.

So far, everything is satisfactory, except for two points: First, the software for controlling the ball machine is very bad, and it's out of control if you just click it. Second, the radio effect is first-class, the intercom is extremely poor, and it is almost inaudible. If you care about this, it is recommended not to buy it. Personally, I think high-definition pictures and recording effects are my first choice, and the rest of the quality problems can only be left to time.

The clarity of the video is awesome, the motion detector is a little slow often I barely get a video of a car way off in the distance, and I’m unable to identify it or anything about the car. If they could adjust the video to save a few seconds of video before the motion was detected that would be great!! Also I have to continually take them down and charge them, I have a lot of trees around so the panels don’t get sunlight all day. If you can’t place the panel where it gets 100% Sun all day, keep in mind you will have to take the camera in and charge it

Ma caméra Argus PT 2K a bien fonctionné la première journée. La batterie c'est chargée à 100 % à partir du panneau solaire fourni avec. Le lendemain, celle-ci ne se chargeait plus. J'ai du la redémarrer et la charge c'est réactivée. Le surlendemain, même problème. J'ai du la redémarrer encore sinon la charge ne démarre pas.

My Argus PT 2K camera worked fine the first day. The battery is 100% charged from the supplied solar panel. The next day it wouldn't charge. I had to restart it and the load is reactivated. The next day, same problem. I had to restart it again otherwise the charge wouldn't start.

I bought the 256 gb disk for my Argus PT (no SD cards come with the camera). The camera will not record all of the instances of movement in a single day. I have tried to reduce the hours of recording and that gets even worse. If I leave the time frame for a full 12 hours, I can't review all of the instances. I see the camera/flood lights go off, but they are not all recorded during the day. I guess I cannot use a 512 gb disk. Not happy missing all the occurances in a day!!

These cameras are great for Home Security. They are super easy fo set up and run effortlessly. We have a another set already for a couple of years and still have the same great picture quality available and function. We are adding onto our system so this was our only option.

Just wanted to say that my REOLINK Argus PT which is mounted on my Hurricane shutters at the Marina in madeira beach florida survived Hurricane Milton with at least 120 mph winds. The camera went off line for 3 days but came back to life this morning with a crystal clear video.
