Have tried multiple times to get cameras to work but to no avail. tried both cameras purchased and none can be logged in. Followed directions (though minimal) to no affect. Went step by step but will not hook up through WiFi and do not even get the option to do so on the screen as it depicts in the manual (no wifi symbol). cannot locate devices as they fail on log in. sitting here scratching my head on this one. what to do? my steps were:

    1. screwed antennae on both cameras
    2. plugged power supply into outlet
    3. plugged power supply into camera
    4. down loaded app and installed software on PC
    5. followed direction to add a device – login failed (APP was P2P, admin username and password blank) – PC was scan device in LAN (nothing)

    Dear Richard,
    Glad to support you.

    First, please kindly check below:
Please power the camera on with adaptor and check if the IR LEDs turn to red when you cover the glass of the camera with your hands. If LEDs switch, then camera is not faulty.

If camera is not faulty, please follow my instructions below:
    1. Connect camera to router with Ethernet cable, please make sure the antennas are tightly screwed.
    2. Run Reolink Client on your computer(computer must be in the same LAN with camera so that you can find your router in SSID scanning),click”scan the device in Lan” and it will automatically show up. input username and password, then you’ll be able to live view.
    scan ip
    3. Go to “Device Setting” page, click “Wifi Setting” option, scan the SSID and click the right one then input the correct password. click”Wi-Fi Test” option, then wait until there shows “Wi-Fi Test Succeed”, MUST click “OK” to save the setting.
(please note that wifi password should be less than 16 characters if your firmware is old, new firmware(806_16060607) which allows longer password is available on Reolink web:/firmware/)——this is important, many wifi testing fail because of this.

4.Now you may disconnect the Ethernet cable, and camera will work wirelessly.

Please note each time camera disconnect, reconnect(including from wired to wirelss), or you quite, re-login the Client, please Click the “PLAY” button on the left bottom of Client like below picture to allow the live view image appear.
    click play

If your problem remain unsolved, please contact service@reo-link.com or support@reolink.com for further assistance.
