    Hi Billy,

Thank you for posting your problem here.

Do you mean Wifi test failed when you try to get camera connected into the Router?
    Would you please check below?
    1. Your router Security Mode.
Reolink wifi camera can only support WPA/WPA2, rather than WEP.
    2. If the security mode is correct, please check your password.
a). the current firmware can only support less than 16 characters.
b). there should be no space in the password
c). some special characters is not supported.

3.Are you using 2.4Ghz or 5.8Ghz wifi frequency?

Does your camera work fine when connected to router with ethernet cable?

    Hello,

BBCode(Bulletin Board Code) is a lightweight markup language used to format posts in many message boards. The available tags are usually indicated by square brackets ([ ]) surrounding a keyword, and they are parsed by the message board system before being translated into a markup language that web browsers understand—usually HTML or XHTML.(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBCode)

To use BBcodes in your content, simply find the code you need in this topic: /topic/allowed-bbcodes-in-reolink-forum, and insert the code into your content.

I have the 410WS and nothing I do seems to let me connect to the camera to start initial setup. It is connected directly to my LAN via ethernet cable but does not appear when I scan for it.
    Help please.

    Dear Michael,
Thanks for posting your question here.

Firstly,Please power the camera on with adaptor and check if the IR LEDs turn to red when you put hands convering the glass of the camera. If LEDs switch, then camera is not faulty.

Second,Power the camera and connect it to router or switch with ethernet cable, if there is twinkling light with corresponding LAN connector, then the network cable of camera is proved to be good.

Third, Make sure the ethernet cable is functional.

Lastly, camera and computer must be in the same LAN.

Please kindly check with each steps and try again.
