I use the Reolink RLK8-800PT4 system every day for both my business and personal security, and it’s been outstanding. It gives me the peace of mind of local NVR storage, along with the convenience of being able to check in from my phone wherever I am.

The 4K video quality is sharp, and the color night vision is excellent — I’m always impressed by how much detail it captures even in low light. The auto-tracking feature works smoothly, and the detection for people, vehicles, and animals has been very accurate with minimal false alerts.

Overall, this system has exceeded my expectations. It’s reliable, easy to use, and has become an important part of both my daily business operations and home security.

My family and I frequently bounce between out home in Arizona and visiting relatives in San Diego, CA and long stays overseas in South Korea. We needed a reliable POE camera system to give us updates on our home and cameras which would be able to survive the extreme temperatures of Arizona summers and monsoon seasons (sometimes up to 118F/47.5C and 60+mph winds). These cameras have been tough and extremely reliable; Ive been using them for the about a year and love them. I was a little hesitant about the Reolink android app and DVR software but its been reliable, intuitive and very easy to use. For example, while living in Seoul last fall, my front door camera alerted me to one of my neighbors who was suffering from a medical emergency and collapsed by my door for help. I was able to quickly call emergency services for him despite being on the other side of the globe and get him aid quickly, potentially saving his life, all thanks to this fantastic DVR system and Reolink's app.
