Can I use third-party cameras with the NVR?
It's not recommended. Third-party cameras may have compatibility issues. Please contact our support ream for protocol-relatiod inquires.
How can I expand the NVR's storage capacity?
You can replace the pre-installed 4TB HDD with a larger one and add an external HDD for the NVR. The RP-PN16 supports up to 32TB total: 2x16TB via SATA
Can I use this camera with Synology?
Yes, via Surveillance Station or FTP setup.
Method 1 (recommended): You can add this camera to the Synology Surveillance Station. See setup guide .

What is the difference between Professional Series cameras and residential security cameras?
Professional Series cameras offer greater resolution, storage, and security capabilities, as opposed to residential security cameras which only have basic features.
How long does an HDD last for recordings?

What kind of microSD card does this camera support?
It supports microSD cards up to 512GB, formatted in FAT32, with Class 10 or higher read/write speed.
Does this camera support coaxial cable?
No. This is a PoE camera, which uses Ethernet cables (CAT5 or higher, 8-PIN T-568B connectors). Coaxial cables are not supported.
