Reolink Lumus is an upgraded indoor/outdoor plug-in WiFi camera with 2K 4MP clarity. It features mart person/vehicle/animal detection, dual-band Wi-Fi, color night vision, and timelapse features for reliable home protection.
The Reolink Lumus has a 2K 4MP resolution, which typically means 2560 × 1440 pixels.
The main difference is their resolution. The Reolink Lumus Pro features 4K 8MP resolution, while the Lumus has 2K 4MP resolution.
It connects to the internet wirelessly, but it requires a plug-in power source.
To set up the Reolink Lumus, first download the Reolink App and log in or create an account, then power on the camera and wait for the voice prompt indicating it is ready for setup.
In the app, tap the “+” icon to add a device by scanning the QR code on the camera or entering its UID, then select your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. Next, use your phone to scan the QR code displayed in the app with the camera until you hear a confirmation beep.
After that, create an admin password, name your device, and wait for the camera to connect to the network. Once completed, the Lumus will appear in your device list and be ready for live view, recording, and alert configuration.
