Functions

How do I connect the NVR to PoE cameras?

Connect the NVR to a router via its LAN port, and to PoE switches via its video-in Ethernet ports. Up to 64 cameras can then connect to the NVR through the PoE switches. Recommended setup:

Note:
1. Adding PoE switches does not increase the number of cameras supported by the NVR, since video channels are fixed.
2. To avoid overloading your PoE switches, distribute cameras evenly across the four Internet ports if possible.

Can I connect the NVR to the router wirelessly?

No. The NVR must be connected to the router via Ethernet cable.

Are the RLC, Argus, TrackMix, and Duo Series cameras compatible with RP-N64?

Yes, all listed models are compatible except for the 4G/LTE version.

How much storage does the RP-N64 support?

Supports up to 4 internal HDDs, with a maximum of 20TB per HDD.
Note: PR-N64 does not include a pre-installed HDD.

Can I use third-party cameras with the NVR?

It's not recommended. Third-party cameras may have compatibility issues. Please contact our support team for protocol-related inquiries.

How long can the NVR record?
