    We have been using the camera for 6 months now and we absolutley love it!
    We got the camera som that we could see if anyone went to our ranch when we're at work. It was easy to install and setup. We set motion alerts to just respond to person and vehicle not pet or any motion. The camera follows the object good and zooms in you can get a good view. Today we have -22°C and the camera works just fine!

  • Fantastic Auto Track Camera In a Tiny Package

    CA_COMMS - Oct 27, 2022

    Compra Verificada

    I was shocked with how small and compact this camera was when I unboxed it yet it packs a ton of features and fantastic video quality. The dual camera tracking and flood lights are very nice features to have in a PTZ and then adding person and vehicle detection and you have an entire enterprise camera suite in one package. The PTZ function is smooth and the auto tracking works very well. Our camera is mounted approximately 25 feet off the ground and the flood lights illuminate the area well. Only thing I would change is making the handing bracket metal instead of plastic however it is still very strong and perfect for typical mounting locations. I would love to see this camera in a 4G/LTE version to use at remote sites since it does everything you could need from a camera.

    Gute überwachungskamera, gute Verarbeirung, gute Bildqualit?t und gutes Preisleistungsverh?ltnis. Achtung PoE Netzteil n?tig!

    I've had this camera in use for 8 months and have had no problems with it. Setup was quick and easy, the Reolink UI is super friendly, and tons of options for all sorts of scenarios. Special shoutout to the spotlight on this camera, as well as the siren alarm, very cool features! The quality is great, PTZ is easy to use, tracking works great, the snapshots are crisp and clear, and it just works.

    We were on a recent trip when my Reolink app sent me a motion alert on my phone. Sometimes it is spiders or dust in front of the camera, but I check the notifications every time. This time it was A PERSON in the process of taking my property! I called my police department back home and they dispatched a unit and apprehended the person. I was able to download the video and email it to the police as well. I have used other camera systems in the past, but will never switch again. Reolink is the real deal and helped keep our home safe while I was several time zones away.

  • Ottimo compromesso tra funzionalità avanzate e prezzo accessibile

    romano contessa - Oct 23, 2025

    Compra Verificada

    Complimenti all'Azienda!

  • Great picture quality with some major trade-offs

    cgh001 - Aug 24, 2024

    Compra Verificada

    First off, this camera is BIG. Seriously, you don't know how big it really is until you pull it out of the box. Imagine a basketball - that's the minimum space you'll need to mount this thing with its mounting bracket, and how big it's going to look once mounted. And that's being conservative.

    The optics are great; actually the best of any of the 10+ Reolink cameras I have. The image on a good network in "High" quality is super sharp and colors are appropriately saturated. This comes at a price though. Depending on your use case, the price could end up being prohibitive.
    * The camera "hunts" for focus constantly. Once it zeroes in, most everything in frame is sharp, but it can take a LONG time for the unit to stop moving lenses to get there. Sometimes it seems crook could move out of view before focus occurs. With as clear a picture as this thing is capable of, that's a shame.
    * If you move the camera with the PTZ controls, you start the "hunting" process over while it does its 'vision test at the eye doctor's' back and forth dance with the focus. Same with zooming in/out.
    * Reolink falsely advertises this camera to have "Color Night Vision." It does not. It's standard monochrome-ish with IR assist. When set to "Color" mode, the image has some faint color, I'll give it that but it is far from justifying calling it "color night vision." And it is CERTAINLY NOT the ColorX night vision on the Argus 4 Pro (which is downright spooky good.) Its night vision is average, I'd say. The IR spot is good enough to give a practical 40-ish foot clear view.
    * It is LOUD. If you are physically near the camera (within 20') when any part of it moves, you will hear it. And if you're monitoring the video and moving the lens around (PTZ), you will hear nothing but stepper motors whining and moving. It's so loud that it's disturbing, and there is NO way you will hear anything that is happening in the frame/picture while any motor (focus and zoom included) are moving. Of course the recordings suffer this malady.
    * You can set many programmed presets to move the camera to desired areas.
    * The presets have an edit feature (change camera's aiming point associated with the preset) but it literally does not work at all. No change is ever retained,, so if you need to move the position of a preset, you will have to delete it and create a new one - which moves it to the bottom of the list of presets, which you cannot rearrange. So presets are easy; changing them is not.
    (I've noticed this on ALL my Reolink PT/PTZ cameras, which is frustrating and disappointing. Don't put the feature in the system until it works... just sayin'.)
    * Microphones on Reolink cameras are usually pretty bad TBH. This camera seems to have a decent mic on it (you can hear a TV down a hallway in the video attached.) It does also seem to be easily overwhelmed by wind, distorting to pure noise on occasion. Baffling for a camera clearly designed to be outside.
    * The mount only allows 2 positions (mounting from a wall, or a ceiling) but that's really all you need, and changing the mount is super easy.
    * Aside from being HUGE, this camera does present nicely and looks to be of good build quality. It's also intimidating (it really does announce its presence) - which could be a good detriment to n'er-do-wells alone.
    * It comes with a security strap - that mounts between the base mount and the camera housing itself. Good to have on a camera this heavy.
    * It makes the impression that it's truly industrial grade by aesthetics and "feel in the hand."
    * Because it's POE, it's always connected to software (like the Reolink App), so it is more responsive than its WiFi connected cousins, albeit there is still a baffling delay - see video. I'm tapping but it's pickup time to my requests is inconsistent and often sluggish. On an enterprise level Gb Ethernet network with low traffic, I would expect close to immediate response to commands. Nope...
    * Tracking, like all Reolink cameras is sluggish to get started. While this camera, being POE is quicker, there is still a lag between the time it detects motion and when it starts recording. Often, so sluggish that by the time it starts recording, what tirggered it is completely out of frame, rendering the recording useless. The motion tracking feature is jerky and sometimes inconsistent - missing its target by under/over-shooting and not correcting, or simply not moving at all. For recordings, it would be great if they did like Ubiquiti/UniFi and had an adjustable "pre-roll buffer" that actually printed the X number of seconds selected prior to the trigger occurrence, so that nothing is missed in the recording. This can be something of a show stopper when using the cameras for their intended purpose - security.
    * It doesn't always track the moving object fully through its motion path either. Sometimes it just stops mid-tracking and it's done. When it again detects motion, it moves/tracks, so I don't know what's "distracting" it on odd occasion.
    * They let you adjust object min/max size for motion sense triggering is quite nice.
    * That said, I sometimes can't tell if adjustments of the object size in the sensitivity settings makes a difference.

    Overall, it's a good camera; it just has some pretty serious quirks and unpredictability. I was debating sending it back all the way up until the 30th day of ownership, but decided to keep it due to its sharp/clear picture (an ACTUAL 4K camera! - not claiming 4K that's oddly distributed and often a low-MP) and significant 5x optical zoom. I'll just end up relegating it to an out of sight area that can benefit from a PTZ but it won't be an eye sore when people come over to visit.
    No matter where it goes, once it's locked in on focus, it does deliver a superb image.

    Transparency on the video I've uploaded:
    Video was shot while camera is on temp mobile mount I use for testing cameras. It had been moved inside at recording time. This means there's a plate of glass between it and outside. This can complicate focusing, no doubt. In this case, it seemed to have minimal effect, thankfully. I can assure you the camera "hunts" for focus like this and worse when outside. There's better than average performance in this video.

  • Auto focus needs improvement

    YJSP - Apr 12, 2024

    Compra Verificada

    It's a really good camera but auto-focus always under/overshoots before returning to the correct focus. For this reason each time the zoom level is adjusted it takes more than 6 seconds to focus. This time should be cut under half or less. Also sometimes it does not really need to re-focus after zoom adjustment, but it does that and blurs out the image anyways.

  • So much potential!

    JohnBee - Aug 10, 2024

    Compra Verificada

    I would begin by stating that I absolutely love the build quality and potential of this particular camera - I mean seriously, huge props to Reolink for their design choices A+

    That being said, here is a short and sweet pro & con list of the camera, as well as some observations that I am hoping, may prove helpful to Reolink and the future of this camera;

    PROS:
    Outstanding build quality
    Very smooth articulation, bearings
    Excellent image quality/optical zoom
    Above average night vision
    Excellent spotlight performance
    Virtually silent turret operation
    Flexible mounting options

    CONS:
    No directional control in per-programming
    No tracking in patrol mode
    No front-end UI position presets - requiring menu + submenu clicks
    No zoom memory with presets
    No focus memory with preset
    Focus settings(values) change between night and day modes

    Beyond that, I did find a few software bugs with this camera, requiring that I close the software and restart it again, namely with the patrol mode, in-that all of the interface functions appeared to have stopped working.

    That said, I really like this camera, in-that it is very well made, in-that it has immense potential, and could easily become the new 811a of turret cams on the market - I truly believe this camera could be that good, and if the cons could be addressed - such as;

    Position presets with zoom and focus memory - greatly improving preset performance /speed etc

    Tracking in Patrol mode - an absolute must for a camera of this type - tracking being a most important aspect of security, with patrolling to expand the serviceable field of view

    Directional control - a must for sofit corner installs - where turrets cameras are most valuable - direction control is needed in both patrol mode and preset(homing etc), to avoid the camera panning the building instead of the serviceable area

    ... so many other great ideas that spring to mind when using this wonderful camera, I truly hope Reolink follows through in making this the best turret camera on the market!

    PS, I may revise this review at a later date, and as I spend more time with the camera

  • TrackMix not fully compatible with NVR and iPhone App

    Heyjimmy911 - Apr 30, 2023

    Compra Verificada

    You can't see both TrackMix images on your iPhone App, if your camera is connected through your Reolink NVR. Network traffic is best managed when you connect your cameras to the NVR and you access the NVR to view your feeds. Sadly when you do this, and you want to view through the app, you can only see one feed at a time and not the TrackMix feed. I've been waiting almost a year for this to be addressed but sadly they haven't. There is a work around if you are in this boat. Rather than plugging your camera(s) into the NVR then the NVR into your home router, plug your cameras and the NRV into your router. This will increase traffic on your router but you will now have two options on your app. Use the direct link to the camera in the app to view TrackMix. Use the NVR link in the app to watch recordings. Other than this, the camera and NVR are a good value.

    Philippe - Jul 12, 2022

    I had the chance to try this new camera, previously I had an RLC-823A and the TrackMix far exceeds the RLC-823A on tracking people, cars and animals. It very rarely loses its target. The automatic zoom works well overall but sometimes the camera stops zooming in on the target and zooms back in again, this will surely be corrected in a future Firmware update that is still in beta. Maybe I got a bad camera, but the audio quality is horrendous on this thing. not only does it not mute when using the PTZ (LOUD gear sounds and a really weird echo after using zoom) but the microphone makes everything sound like it's 20 feet under water. It took a year outside before my 2 520a's started sounding this bad. The picture quality is good, It needs a speed setting for the PTZ, Still get a lot of false positives on detection, and the color night mode is just average.

  • Excellent camera, prone to glare at night with security/flood lights nearby

    ReggaeBird - Jun 09, 2023

    Compra Verificada

    I have 10 years experience installing IPCs, worked with many brands and I can say with confidence Reolink is the best all around system you can get for the price point. I love their products so much its what I use for my own home which runs a 32 camera setup currently. I have the access and expertise to run more advanced and expensive systems, but why spend 4x more on a system that still wont give you the all around features that reolink offers? With that being said, lets move onto the review.

    Was really wanting to get the Duo 1, but after realizing that I would eventually need all channels in my NVR, the benefit of the 180 degree shot coming out of one camera and being used as one feed was better than the two separate images I originally desired. The merge point on this camera is pretty good, the software allows you to adjust the alignment as needed. This camera has exceeded my expectations in almost all areas, with that being said, there are a few downsides.

    1- aiming and positioning this camera is not great. The mount does the job, but I had to mount this camera about 2 ft lower than the rest of my bullet/dome cameras as it was catching IR glare from the other cameras at night, and wanted the IR sensors to shoot out further. If I mount high, I cant get the low view and IR is pointing to the ground, making objects in the distance blacked out completely. The only real solution I can come up with, is to make the body of this camera smaller. I have attached a photo of my camera at night with the flood light about 10ft to the left of it, you can see the glare on that half of the image. Camera is mounted 2ft lower than the flood light and a Track Mix PoE under that light

    2- excessive glare. With standard cameras, if you encounter glare from a security or flood light, you can simply reposition it. However, with the dual lenses, its almost impossible to eliminate that glare aside from repositioning the camera or offending light source. End result, at night, half of my view has a glare on it, but I can live with it, camera still does its job.

    3 - the adjustment to trigger IR sensors is insufficient, as I find with all other reolink cameras with this option. My neighbor has a 200W floodlight blasting into my backyard to be spiteful, this causes the cameras to think there is a good bit of light and prevents the triggering of the IR lights. with the cameras in direct view of the flood light, even adjusting the slider as far as I can in either direction, will not solve the issue. If anyone else has this issue, the solution is to save that blue tape that comes covering the lens. Cut out a square, place it over the daylight sensor. If one layer does not work, I apply sharpie to the outside of the first layer, and then cover that with another layer of the blue tape. Or basically do any other version of this, the idea is to impede some light going to the daylight sensor. Either way, never had to deal with this with my older camera setups.

    Aside from those three issues, camera is excellent. Great quality image, good features and appropriately priced. Can't go wrong with this. I will be buying more of these for sure. Despite the glare, it does not affect image quality significantly nor does it impact its ability to identify a subject. Solution would to be to have he two camera lens heads curved instead of being perfectly flat to deflect incoming glare.

Sometimes you need one more camera to cover a hard to get to area and this one fits to bill. I have (3) E1 Outdoor camera's, (1) RLC-510A, (1) RLC-811A and (2) Trackmix 4K PTZ camera's. All quality cameras and easy to setup. Have been using Reolink, both app and client for viewing but would like to buy Reolink nvr as another option.

    I had the E1 Outdoor and was looking at upgrading to the E1 4K Outdoor. I was mildly annoyed by the motor noises of the E1's. Unfortunately or Fortunately I guess at this point the coupon code I was trying to use to buy the 4K Outdoor ended up not working. By the time they got the code fixed all the 4K Outdoors were sold. So I took the chance and upgraded to the TrackMix PoE. WOW! I love this thing. It's mounted above the center of my garage door. The wide angle lens nicely views the two cars parked up close while the zoom lens gets a great view of the car parked out further. The people tracking and zoom are good. A little jerky but I'm hoping this new firmware I just installed may make it better. I'm looking forward to getting some more of these. They add a whole new layer to the security around the house. I have to worry less about blind spots because this will track the person even if they walk into a blind spot after initial lock. So you can set them to have a nice wide perimeter and let the cameras follow the subject in.

  • I hope Reolink technicians read this

    Pablo - Apr 17, 2025

    I use Trackmix poe for the past month very intensive. I must admit it has a decent video quality and top of the notch application, much more user friendly than Hikvision or Dahuha. And to make it even better I've made a list of features which would make this cam 6 stars worth. Now it's about 4 imho.
    Reolink features:
    1. View presets tour - we can set a view presets but there is no option to set automatic tour between them, we need also a slider for setting time period between preset change. For every preset there should be marking field in case some presets shouldn't be used with tour.
    2. Only 1 detection zone -THIS IS MY biggest complain right now. Please consider this feature with future software and if you decide to go for it, please allow to set diferent actions available for every zone (siren, light)
    3. Detection zone - no schedule here.
    4. Double warning.
    5. iOS Reolink app - no option for language change
    6. iOS Reolink app - no Pre-motion Record option which is available in desktop app.
    7. Siren on desktop app - no option for custom sound (it's available in mobile app)

  • Great camera but could use a few improvements

    Makotosan - Oct 24, 2025

    First impression upon opening this camera is the sheer size. It's quite bigger compared to other cameras that I have. It will definitely be noticeable.
    Speaking of noticeable, the motors in this camera are not quiet. I have tracking enabled and when you walk past the camera, even at about 20 feet away, you can hear the motors in the camera. That's one thing I don't love about this.
    The tracking functionality only supports PT (pan and tilt). It won't zoom in on a person for example. The TrackMix camera does support zooming in while tracking.

    The image quality is really great and offers excellent zoom capabilities. Even at night, the color vision is still really great with low lighting. However, the autofocus at night is really slow and struggles to focus.

    To summarize, here are some things that I love about this camera:
    * Easy one wire installation with PoE
    * Great image quality and excellent zoom
    * Two-way audio
    * IR night vision
    * Low light color with option to use spotlight
    * Person/animal/vehicle detection with tracking
    * Integration with HomeAssistant

    And some things that I don't love:
    * No zoom option with tracking
    * PTZ functionaltiy in mobile and desktop app could be easier. For example, would be nice if I could use keyboard arrow keys to move camera or drag the position with my mouse. There is a "3D zoom" function in the desktop app that allows you draw a box for a region you want to zoom in on.
    * Noisy motors
    * Poor autofocus at night

Contrary to the red noticed the camera I received does track up, down left and right. Superb clarity. I don’t care about sound quality but it sounds OK to me. Extremely pleased with it, can’t find fault with it. I will see if it performs well over the next year.

    I found that this model frequently missed people and cars moving through the field of view and that tracking was often delayed to the point that the camera never caught up to the motion. In addition, the tracking function is limited to horizontal (pan) movements alone (i.e. no vertical tracking) so if the camera is mounted higher up (mine is at 10ft and pointing down at about 40 degrees), it wont catch the face of person moving in the upper part of the field of view. In short, I was disappointed with this cameras performance as a security camera. In addition, as mentioned in other reviews, the audio is not great and the noise it makes when PTZ-ing is horrendous.

    To their credit, the support folks tried hard to help and provided firmware that seemed to improve performance a bit. However, they did not offer to refund my purchase (maybe I should ask?).

    I recently purchased one of the new Reolink Duo 3 16MP cameras as a replacement. Perhaps this one be better suited to my front yard.

    Had an issue with the first one I got, but since it was under warranty I got a new one. This works great, and I happened to have a hole drilled through my house where cable TV came in. I just ran right through there because my router was in that room. I like the height because no one can mess with it. We had kids throwing rocks at the neighbor's camera and busted them, so at least out of my 4 Reolink cameras, this one is high enough, just under the second story, so it might be a bit harder to throw rocks at it.

  • Amazing quality, solid build!

    I have this camera placed in a flight of 14 destructive macaws in my bird sanctuary. These guys have been so curious of the camera and have tried biting it! The solid construction has deterred any biting from the birds. That being said, it has amazing visuals day and night. Crazy good zoom.

    The app is a bit buggy with these cams sometimes, but I believe it is an issue with the app. When it's done refocusing after zooming, the app doesn't update with the correct focus to adjust.

    Very very happy with this E1 Outdoor POE camera. So simple to install. NVR found it after a few seconds.
    The image is very clear. The nighttime image is clear and in colour with lights on. Be great if this version came in black.
