What is RLN8-410?

The RLN8-410 is a Reolink 8-channel network video recorder (NVR). It connects to up to 12 Reolink cameras, records video 24/7, and stores footage for playback and remote viewing through an app or monitor.

What cameras are compatible with RLN8-410?

The Reolink RLN8-410 is compatible with most Reolink PoE cameras and non-battery WiFi cameras. However, supported models may vary depending on the hardware version. For detailed compatibility information, please refer to the Reolink NVR compatibility page on our support site.

How to reset Reolink RLN8-410?

For a hardware reset, keep the NVR powered on and locate the reset button or pinhole on the back of the device. Press and hold it for about 10 to 15 seconds until you hear a beep or the system begins to reboot. This will restore the device to factory settings.

If you still have access to the system, you can perform a software reset by going to the main menu, selecting System, then Maintenance (or Default), and choosing Restore Factory Settings. Confirm the action to complete the reset.

Please note that a factory reset will erase all existing settings, including passwords, network configuration, and camera setups.

What is the difference between RLN16-410 and RLN8-410?

The RLN16-410 comes with 16 ports and a pre-installed 4TB HDD, while the RLN8-410 features 8 ports and a pre-installed 2TB HDD.

What cameras work with the RLN8-410?

The RLN8-410 works with compatible Reolink PoE, plug-in Wi-Fi, and battery-powered Wi-Fi cameras. The N7MB01 hardware version supports up to 12 cameras, including 8 PoE or plug-in Wi-Fi cameras plus 4 battery-powered Wi-Fi cameras. Alternatively, you can connect up to 12 battery-powered Wi-Fi cameras.

Does the Reolink RLN8 410 have WiFi?

No. The RLN8-410 does not have built-in Wi-Fi and must connect to your router via an Ethernet cable. However, it can still manage compatible Reolink Wi-Fi cameras when the cameras and NVR are connected to the same network.

What is the latest firmware version for the Reolink RLN8-410 camera?

The latest firmware version depends on the hardware version of your Reolink RLN8-410. For N7MB01, the latest firmware is v3.6.5.562_26062933, while NVR_NNT3NA78P uses v3.6.5.562_26062955. Both were updated on July 21, 2026. You can download the correct firmware from the Reolink Download Center.
