I received the Beta update, Thank You. But I guess I posted in the wrong forum. I was talking about the the NVR having trouble with motion detection, not my Windows PC. When I upgraded the client from v126.96.36.199 to v188.8.131.52, the client would no longer record to disk on motion detect events. I checked configuration several times and it is correct and enabled but it will not record. Manual recording works fine. I downgraded to v184.108.40.206 and motion detect recording works again. Anyone else having problems?
Yes, I'm having problems with v220.127.116.11 too. What I have done is just set camera's to record all the time and used the schedule tab to set the time parameters. A poor work around but until the next client software release, it seems to be working.
Well, the one dot of signal strength got to me again today so I tried to get the camera to connect directly to the router.
After MUCH trying of your instructions I finally got the camera to connect...(leave password blank)....sort of.
Now I have ALL FOUR bars of wifi signal strength.....BUT NO PICTURE just a black screen.
Also, in the device list on the NVR menu, it shows the camera as a 192.168.x.x:9000 and not a 172.16.xx.xxx:9000 IP address like the other cameras, but Status is ”connect failed”
I cannot leave this like that and wait till tomorrow to see if you have any more suggestions so I will try to get this back to connecting to the NVR wifi with the one dot of signal strength and at least having a picture. I will try one last time tomorrow to connect the camera directly to my router if you have any suggestions.
OK, got it back to how it was, I do have a picture now with a dot of wifi signal.
I bought an RLC-210W from Amazon for $65 and it ships from Virginia.
These cameras only work with the RLK4-210WB NVR as I understand it.
I have the RLK4-210WB NVR kit that I also bought from Amazon.
I can only speak about the RLC-210W cameras and they do.

Found how to change the camera labels so I'm all set. 🙂
I worked on this some more today and finally got the wifi icon to show.
I put the SSID of my router in and also the password.
When I unplug the ethernet cable I just get a black screen that says ”video Loss”
I will try to get it set back to how it was....at least with one signal bar the NVR could receive a picture.
I have the signal back, but now I have two ”camera 1′s” If you could advise me how to change this to camera 1 and 2

I turned off the camera.
I connected the camera to the router with an ethernet cable.
I turned the camera back on.
The router and NVR are connected to each other with an ethernet cable.
Now I open up the Reolink client on my PC. v18.104.22.168
When I click the settings gear, this is what I get: As you can see, there are no wifi settings.
This is what I meant when I mentioned that things don't happen as your instructions suggest.
Do I reset the camera or delete the camera from the NVR before trying this again?
I received the app you sent and emailed it to the RCA tablet and it is up an running!

I tried what you suggested with the ethernet cable.....things did not happen like you said, and I have no idea if the camera is connected to the router or NVR. The camera never called for the SSID or p/w.

I have a computer in my workshop which is 80 feet past the wifi camera and it connects wirelessly at 300 Mbs and can capture All bars of signal strength. My router is a Netgear Nighthawk 7500 36 ~ 38 feet away from the router and the wifi extender which is 0nly 6 feet away from the camera is a Belkin N300. I will try to do your install routine again.

Hmm.....seems like there should be an ”edit” button for adding or amending posts but just to add to the above post. I used the QR code from the CD that came with the RLK4 outfit and it just sent me to the Google Play store and I still get the same errors, "no qualifying devices found" or "Your device isn't compatible with this version".
