I can't really answer your question but if it were me I'd get one camera to try it.
I have slow internet. My download speed is lower than yours and my upload might be the same or a bit faster. Remote streaming to my Android device works fine. The clearest streamed video comes from the appropriately named Clear stream. Fluent is a sub-stream of Clear and I think, by default, the app uses the lower bandwidth Fluent stream.May 21, 2017 at 9:14 pm in reply to: FTP failed to continue recording to my external SDCARD when full #50497
On the Reolink client software is ”Overwrite” checked?
Device Settings – (Record) Option – Overwrite
My understanding of your post is that the internal SD is full and saving to the thumbdrive fails.
You might have found an issue to be aware of. I noticed that saving to my FTP server stopped at some point also. The internal SD card would have been full also. I did not look into possible causes or solutions and instead only use the internal storage now. Overwrite was checked in my setup. Hopefully someone here will know the answer.May 13, 2017 at 4:56 am in reply to: Not able to turn motion detection on or off in PC client software 126.96.36.199 #48105
Thanks Ronlinbo. Do you (or anyone else here) know if there is a way to turn motion on or off within the browser interface? RLC-411WS & RLC-410WS cams with the latest firmware installed.
I had turned motion off using the Android app two days ago but the app automatically updated yesterday with no way to turn motion back on in the new app! It's lucky for me that I had access to a Windows PC and could roll back to a previous desktop PC version. It would be useful to be able to access all settings using the browser interface.
It looks to me that image went from color to black & white then back to color indicating a switch from day mode to night mode back to day mode. My Reolinks make a clicking sound when switching day/night mode. See if you can recreate the problem with a motion trigger event that doesn't block the light and cause the mode switch.
