Hi, is anyone using Zoneminder with their Reolink cameras? I have tried to configure Zoneminder to use the RTSP stream, but I can't get it to work. The RTSP stream from the cameras is working with other software, but Zoneminder is a little bit complicated to configure. My configuration is shown in the image. Any ideas? Thanks!

AnonymousHow about changing the port to 8000 and try?
May 21, 2016 at 3:33 am #2647It looks like the problem is with Zoneminder, not with the camera. I will post again if I figure it out. Thanks!

AnonymousZoneminder on Linux system currently could not support. However, reolink is working on its web login. It will support Linux, Mac and Windows system to login by HTML5 compatible web browser like IE, EDGE, CHROME, FIREFOX, SAFARI, etc.
Hope all of our customers will have better experience with reolink items.
June 6, 2016 at 10:30 am #3067Use source type: Ffmpeg
Use source path: rtsp://username:password@address/h264Preview_01_main
Use remote method: RTP/RTSPYour capture width and height much match what the camera is set to output.

AnonymousThe new version which support no plugin still under testing. Will release and upload onto our website when it is done. Thanks!
July 15, 2016 at 11:45 am #4966You only have to use Windows once to setup the camera with your preferences. After that, zoneminder reads the camera fine.
July 21, 2016 at 4:41 am #5265I cannot get the actual zoneminder web interface to show the camera feed with the settings gbiggins listed above. All I get is the attached image. However, I can get the camera feed through zmninja (Zoneminder app) with the same exact settings. All zmninja does is pull the info from Zoneminder so I am not sure what is wrong with the interface. My main issue I still am working on is getting the main stream to feed smoothly. Right now it only shows maybe 1 frame every 20 seconds. If I use the sub stream it comes through just fine, but who wants to use the sub stream.

July 30, 2016 at 6:38 am #5666I got a RLC-410 working similar to gbiggins’ settings above:
Source Type: ffmpeg (on first tab)
Then, on second tab:
Source Path: rtsp://YOURIPADDRESS:554/h264Preview_01_main
Remote Method: RTP/RTSP
Capture Width: Must match the setup on the camera
Capture Height: Must match the setup on the cameraI also had to lower the FPS on the camera to about 9.
If this shows green on your ZM main page but still can't see the rendering, note you may need to have Java installed on your browser machine if you are rendering with the Cambozola client.
I also had an issue with a headless CentoOS ZM install, and apparently due to memory, it wouldn't render either, so had to do a GUI installation of CentOS.
Good luck!
July 30, 2016 at 6:42 am #5667Similar to gbiggins, only some minor changes on a RLC-410
ffmpeg
rtsp://ipaddress:554/h264Preview_01_main
width and height as setup on your camera, i modified to 1280×720
also, lower your FPS on the camera to 9This works for me and shows the monitor as green on the main zm page.
If it is green there, but you can't see the video, you need to check if you have java installed on the machine you are browsing from.
