I have a RLC-410-WS camera. My current firmware is 708_16041203. The latest available is 806-16041903. I don't have any issues with the camera, but I just put it up today. What does the new firmware improve over my current? Sometimes upgrading firmware can cause more problems than it fixes so I don't want to just upgrade because there is a newer version.

    Hi Thoorn,

    Thanks for your inquiry.
Version 806-16041903 has updated an option to enable/disable P2P.
Fixed a bug that in some condition, camera can't connect to 5.8Ghz network.

If you don't come across any problems with current version, there is no need to upgrade.

    Any additional problems,please contact service@reolink.com/support@reolink.com.
    Thanks.

I've updated to the latest firmware. I think it's better to do the update since it would fix bugs and come with more features.

    Hi Mikeme,

Yes, new firmware either update some new features or fix bugs.
We published a new firmware on 10th June for RLC-410WS(806_16060603) and RLC-411WS(806_16060607) to extend the Wi-Fi password, as many customers have this request. but some customers are using Wi-Fi password within 16 characters. so this new version doesn't matter to them.
Though update or not, it's a personal choice. If convenient, we suggest updating to the latest one.

    Thanks
