Forum Software ReoLink Client – Argus2 Camera times out

    I have set the Recording Schedule for the Camera to record motion and store it on my HDD.
    I am able to manually record to the HDD. But when I set to live streaming... the camera times out and is logged off after receiving a message that having the camera on will consume battery.
    How does the scheduled recording work???
    I have read that the client needs to be running... I have it running but I assume it's not working due to the camera timing out. How do you not have the camera time out?
    any assistance is appreciated 🙂



    You have some misunderstanding. The Record Schedule on the Client is not working for your camera model (Argus 2). That part is for other models that uses motion detection. However, Argus 2 uses PIR detection instead of motion detection.
    And Argus 2 added to the Client has only those basic functions availble, like live view and playback. Not all advanced options on the Client is for your camera model.
