Argus 2 is supposed to be weatherproof – IP65.
There has been a storm yesterday and today I noticed my camera was off.
When checking the camera, I realised the battery was full of water!
The rest of the camera seems ok but the battery is a disaster.
I opened it and realised the joint is too small to block any water.
How can you sell a weatherproof camera with a battery that is not weatherproof?
I hope support will at least replace the battery but I'm fearing it will be flooded at next storm so I would prefer another camera model which is fully weatherproof.
Has anyone had any bad experience with water on Argus 2 or other supposedly weatherproof cameras?
