When I use the Reolink Windows Client to view and download videos from my Argus 2, the Auto Stop window keeps popping up every minute. I understand that this is done to save battery. I have 7 Argus 2 with 7 Solar Panels. I am not worried about my battery running out of power. Having the Auto Stop every minute requires me to watch the screen when downloading and watching many videos. I don’t have time to stare at the screen for hours downloading videos. I second that. – It is very contraproductive in some usage scenarios. I think I even contacted the support about this way back.
The argus 2 especially is generally locked down heavily when it comes to users who want to tinker with it.
It seems it only work over their cloud and local usage is not even possible. Like webpage access and direct link to the Video stream etc. (I know it also has some advatages like “out-of-the-box” availability outside of your network etc.) But this would be the first step to improve.
I am sure this isn´t even a huge modification deal and just some slight changes in the firmware, which even doesn´t have to be rolled out to all users generally, only to them who are aware of the risks.

Hey guys, great little camera and good app / software to back it up, a few small improvements to interface and customizability needed but on the right track.
Here’s an urgent request to help with improvements. Please add option to disable auto logout. Maybe wise to add option to disable screensaver while viewing live stream while your at it. This is a “keep it” or “return it” decision for me. Please respond with actual information about the progress of our request as
“pending” = return

The log out time in Reolink App has been extended to 20 minutes. In Reolink Client, the warning of log out will prompt out in 5 minutes and will log out after 10 sec if you haven’t conducted any further demand.
