Troubleshooting for UID not working on Reolink NVR

If you fail to log into your Reolink NVR remotely via UID, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

Step 1. Check if the the Internet connection on your NVR is working or not.

1. Please right click on the Live View screen, click the  button down to the buttom of this page to enter the main menu.

Note: The snapshot is from Wi-Fi NVR. If you use a PoE NVR, the steps are exactly the same as Wi-Fi NVR.

2. Please click “Network” >> “Advanced” >> “NTP”, and then click “Set”.

2. Click “Sync”. If the time synchronization is successful, it means the Internet on NVR is all good. Please go to Step 2 directly to check another reason.

3. If time synchronization fails, please check the network connection between the NVR and router or contact us for further troubleshooting.

Step 2. Add the NVR to your phone or PC via UID. If login fails, please check the Internet connection of your phone or PC. If the Internet is fine, please try another phone or PC.

If the internet connection on your phone is working while you still fail to login the NVR using the UID, please contact us for further support.
